| The movie was fantastic, the plot was unbelievable. But, hey, that's the joy of it, to fantasize about things that are impossible. Plus, who's complaining when you have such a cute Prince Charming who looks like Chad Michael Murray?
I know that this may sound cheesy, but I really think that this version of the traditionally old and masculine approach by Charles Perrault is pretty diffrent compared to the latter. the 'old' Cinderella goes to the dance, allow the prince to fall for her, and then just sits back and wait for everthing to happen to her. Sam( played by Hilary Duff), makes things happen, and she isn't afraid to stand up for herself, I think that's pretty cool, in my books.
The dance scene was shot beautifully by the dirctor, so romantic and yet so innocent.
The critics in the media gave this movie a 2 stars out of 5. I think that's because they're biased, i mean, how can a married 30-something really relate to a high-school romance movie?
I give it 6 stars out of 5.
